Dakota is 3 and though her favorite color is pink, she thinks it’s cool when she gets to ‘dress up’ in camo and go hunting with Mom and Dad. She is a trooper and hunts for miles without a complaint. Though not one to have in the deer blind as she does like to chatter, she makes hunting as a family a perfect outing. In fact, just this past Fall, Dakota asked Haley if she would take her hunting. Indeed Haley grabbed their gear and since gun season was not open yet they chose the TenPoint Crossbow and headed for a ground blind. After an hour of playing tea party and enjoying each others company, Dakota very nonchalantly asked Haley, "Mama why aren't you shooting that deer?" Sure enough there was a doe standing 10 yards perfectly broadside! Haley reached for her TenPoint, took aim and released. The doe didn't go far and Dakota proudly took pictures with the deer as if it were her own! She even bragged to her 2K class that SHE killed a deer! Although girlie, Dakota looks as though she will be a chip of the old block!
